MUFE Flash Color

Here’s a swatch of 8 Make Up For Ever Flash Color.  MUFE is a cosmetics line sold exclusively only to Sephora and with one stand alone store at New York (village area).  I was told by a makeup artist from Sephora that the flash color line was just released to the public recently, before it was only available to artists.  I love MAC but I think MUFE is my new love.  I bought a turquoise and fuschia eye shadows (picture was posted on my last post) and I absolutely LOVE it.  It is very pigmented.  I am not a matte fan but seeing and trying the MUFE fuschia e/s, I totally changed my mind.  I am sure I will be purchasing more MUFE eye shadows in the future.  Yeah, the $18 price for the eye shadow and $17 for the flash color can be a lil steep compared to MAC’s prices but it is well worth every dollar.  The only issue with the flash color is that it doesn’t really stay dry.  You need either an eye shadow to make the color pop or a setting powder.  I have yet used a setting powder but yesterday I tried green leaf MUFE flash color and applied MAC’s Pagan eye shadow and the color was beautiful.  Anyway, this is the swatch of what I have (applied on bare skin, no primer) –

What a week!

Whew.  Work was crazy and to treat myself for hardwork (yeah right lol), I splurged a lil bit.  I actually returned some products at Sephora because my skin i breaking up.  I returned a Bliss cleanser and a Clinique moisturizer (the superdefence one).  I guess I’m gonna stick to my Kiehl’s moisturizer and cleanser for now.  Some of the items I bought that I didn’t took a picture are: MAC 187 & 222 brushes; Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet +; Smashbox Primer; MAC Snob lipstick (actually a Back2Mac item yayy!); and I’m sure I have other stuff that I forgot to mention.  And that’s only last week’s purchases.  I *might* post a review about the MUFE foundation and Smashbox Primer.

Sephora Haul!

Alright for a change, I shopped at Sephora today.  I can’t believe I been to MAC like 4 times last week – I’m dead ass serious.  So yeah today I stop at Sephora after work because I wanna try the DuWop Revolotion face.  Of course I ended up getting other stuff. 

Urban Decay’s Big Fatty Mascara – the packaging is so retro.  Love it!  Haha.  I have been using Diorshow waterproof mascara for about a year now and I feel like its time for me to try a different brand.  I was torn between Urban Decay’s and Benefit Bad Gal, but I was sold to UD’s packaging.  LOL.

 I also bought a Sephora brush roll but when I tried it with my MAC brushes, it wouldn’t fit :(.  Now I gotta return it tomorrow.

Okay everyone.  I got ’em!  A week early!  Yayy!  Of course, from the MAC Pro Store. 🙂

I stopped by the MAC store first to get –

MAC X FAFI pt.2

I went to MAC Pro at Flatiron tonight and bought a studio stick foundation, 190 brush and brush cleanser.  I know that the MAC FAFI is out in two weeks but I asked the MA anyway.  She said —- Feb. 7th!  Only in New York!  I’m hyped now, LOL.  

So ladies, 1 more week! 🙂
